Beautiful Video!

Pumpkin carving with the family...

We carved pumpkins for family night. Then we headed of to Krispy Kreme for some doughnuts. I purposely did not post a photo of my sad pumpkin. Look out we are carving more tonight and I have photos to post of the YW carving activity I hosted last night. I love Halloween!!

How did Ivan end up with stitches?

Saturday we spent some time at InstaCare because Ivan cut his finger. 4 numbing, shots, 1 tetanus shot, 3 stitches and a $30.00 copay. Such a fun Saturday and to think we were going to go to Lagoon.

How did Ivan cut his beautiful computer programmer finger? Can you guess?

A. Carving his pumpkin.

B. Cutting floorboard, with this nifty razor blade.

C. Cleaning up a glass that broke in the kitchen.

I also learned something about Ivan on this day. When he has a serious problem he lets out a deep manly scream. It kinda sounds like a lion roar. So next time I hear that out of his mouth, I will come running for sure, bad foot and all.

Family Dinner

We had family dinner at our house tonight. Whitney broke out her Rock Band game for the WII. We all had so much fun!

Adi on guitar

Check out this video of Cara, she is awesome!
Poor Carter, he has such a hard time with large crowds in small spaces. Ivan set him up a table in Janika's room to help ease his panic attack. After a while he was asking for Grandpa (his favorite guy). Grandpa is so great to leave the fun and spend quality time with Carter.
I am so grateful for these special days that I get to spend with my sweet family. We are always having fun together. So many people were missing for all sorts of different reasons and even though I enjoyed tonight, I can't help being sad about missing some of my family. I wished we could all be together all the time. That would be heaven on earth!
Thanks mom for the cheese cake. MMMMM!

Friday Fun

On the way home from Janika's dance lessons, I wasn't feeling like going home. It was such a beautiful day and thought we should spend it outside. I decided to drive to Kaysville and take the kids to Castle Park. I called my sweet niece, Niki to see if she wanted to meet me with her cute kids and she did. I didn't have the camera at the park (bummer), but this is the most amazing park ever! We stayed for 2 hours.

Niki invited me to go the the pumpkin patch in Farmington with her. I couldn't believe the pumpkins, they had oodles of them! Ivan met me and brought the camera (yeah).

After the fun Ivan and I took the kids to dinner. Janika came home and put herself to bed. She was so worn out! I love days like this! Well other then the kids (including the baby) falling out of the wheel barrel, (that is why Janika is so dirty in all the photos). Ivan and I got the rest of the kids to bed and snuggled up in bed and started catching up on the missed episodes of ER. Wow that new chief of staff is mean!
