White Washing the V

Every year the Seniors get to go up to the "V" and paint it white. Who knew painting could be so much fun? I never got to paint the "C" at Cyprus high and Hunter didn't have the "H". Did you have a letter for your school on a mountain? Did you get to paint it? Did you know Whitney could look like a boy? Neither did I...

Photo Story Friday...

A wire broke in my bra and poked me all day long. If you have ever had that happen, you know how miserable it is. I went outside to throw this evil bra away (all bras are evil) and decided to make Ivan and Whitney laugh by putting it on the car. We were driving to my Mom's house for family dinner, this bra held on for all 40 minutes. Along the way we would have people honk at us. Many times we would look over at the cars and other crazy ladies would have their bras off, swinging them around and yelling "yeah". It was like a bra freeing holiday, surely amazing, like some type of right to take off your bra day.

This is my BMW (big Mormon wagon) with my ex bra attached as we arrived to my Mom's house.

This is the evil bra as we drove down 2-15.

Notice the car in front of my Moms house... See the evil bra on that car? Well, as we left to go home, I decided the evil bra needed a new home. Congratulations Kurtis and Melissa (brother and sister-in-law) you are the proud owner of a nasty evil bra. Luckley Kurtis and Melissa share my humor.

Do you like my humor? Don't answer that...
Do you feel like taking off your bra for good?

Not Me Monday...

Check out this fun Not Me Monday put on by My charming kids. click on the photo above to check it out. She is great!

My turn...

I did not go to church late and unprepared to teach.

I did not cook dinner for 15 people and stand on my bad foot all afternoon and evening.

I did not stay up until 12:30 am, making my new header (you know I will change it next week).

I did not let Carter watch TV in his bed all day to deal with his melt downs.

I did not let Whitney stay home from school so I wouldn't have to get up early today and deal with the insurance adjuster (she got in a car accident on Friday).

I did not stay up ALL night with Morgan.

I did not do any of these things... They are soooooo NOT ME!!! ha ha ha ha!!

Can't get my blood.....

I guess if you nurse a baby, had coke for breakfast, skipped lunch and drank no water. You get dehydrated. A simple blood draw from the Dr. took 5 sticks, my blood wouldn't come. They ended up getting it out of my hand, but still only a little. What is a girl to do after this? I went to get a coke on my way home, because that is how I roll..... Janika took this photo!

This is my medical bills for this month. Every month I get horrible bills in the mail from doctor offices. Let me tell you, they are all wrong. Today is the day that I set aside for getting them all straightened out. I worked many, many years doing medical billing and boy has this paid off for my family. Most people blindly pay these bills. Even my insurance company said I owed $520.00 that I didn't owe. After review today, they agreed to pay it. ARGGGG! So today I spent 2 hours on the phone and saved $564.22. Just a little rule of thumb... If your bill is over your normal copay, and you have met your yearly deductible.....DO NOT pay the bill without extensive research. Call the insurance company first, then the Doctors office. You will be amazed how many times you do not owe the bill. If you need help, please feel free to ask me for assistance.

Crazy Baby, Whitney says "yes" & Flowers from Ivan...

Ivan found Morgan on the top of Carter's bed. So Dangerous. She can climb up the slide. She is only 9 months. She learns a lot from her brother and sister. Now we have to keep Carter's door shut, so Ivan bought this thing for the door that automatically shuts it. Crazy baby!

These are the flowers that Ivan brought me home for no reason.... Well, he is just a sweetie!

Whitney got asked to the Homecoming dance. I guess the guy that asked her is a funny guy and he asked her in a funny, cheesy way (bag of rice saying "t would be "rice" if you went to homecoming with me). She wanted to ask him in a funny way not a cute way like she has in the past with other dates. Who do we call for help?? Uncle John (the funniest guy that I know, that happens to be my brother, yes it runs in the family). He came through with this. It reads, I chex my schedule and I would get a kix out of going with you as long as you are not a fruit loop or a cereal killer.... Thanks John... The next day she got asked 2 more times, but had to decline because she had already told the one guy yes. She was pretty bummed because one of the guys that asked her was her "dream date" he was just a day too late.. She knows she will have a blast with the guy she is going with so all is well. I hope no one else asks her because she would just feel so bad....

This is her and one of her bff's Cody, sorry the camera is blurry.

Whitney's Senior Photo...

This girl is CRAZY! She told me not to buy the package of photos this year because she wanted to do something funny for the year book. I decided to buy the smallest package they had and this is what she brought home today. She is so super funny! You know being funny runs in our family, it just comes natural for us. The best part is that she totally tried to look like a dork and is still beautiful! Some Mothers may be mad at a child that does this on their senior photo, but I am proud of her humor, it is who she is..... Grandma, don't worry we are getting a professional one done later on in the year...

Carter's First Day of Preschool!

Carter started his preschool today. Notice his shirt says "here comes trouble", so fitting! He has a new teacher this year, her name is Renee. She doesn't seem as nice as his teacher last year, but I am sure she will be fine. They have him in the 4-5 year old class. It is crazy! I really don't understand why, something to do with jump starting him if he is Whit older children. Just seems strange how they would put a child on a 2 year old level with 4-5 year old kids. Kids like Janika, who know how to write???? I hope they know what they are doing.

He had a great time and was able to tell me he had a snack of milk and dinner. Last year he wouldn't say anything about school so this is progress. He even told Grandma K. all about it on the phone, but he told her he had dinner and sprite. Funny kid! I get 1 1/2 hours on Tues and Thurs with just Morgan (sigh), all the running around is really crazy. Today has been really wild.

Janika's first day of school!

My little Janika started preschool today! I asked her if she was frightened she said...."I am not frightened, just nervous." When she got home I asked her how it went she said..... No one said anything about my cute new shoes." She really liked it! She learned the letter A (but she knew it already of course, since she is ready for first grade). They had animal cookies and juice for snack. When she got home she had to call Grandma and Grandpa Kemple and tell them all about it. I wished Carter could tell me about his school days.... He goes Thursday! _________________________________________
