Who has a beard of snowy white?

Every year we go to the Forester Christmas party with my parents. I grew up going to these parties and it is so fun to see my children enjoying the same things. The kids really liked Santa, but Morgan LOVED him.
Last week we went to my nephews house to see Santa. They have a guy in their ward that comes over to surprise the kids. He was great and so funny. The kids were so excited to have him show up. It was a huge surprise.

Santa thought Ivan was naughty. Carter asking for crafts. What???
Janika was shocked that Santa knew her name. She thinks he is for sure the real Santa!
Santa told me that the best thing about being Santa is that he gets to hug women right in front of the husbands and they don't even get mad at him. He hugged me like forever! It was funny!

I am so thankful that Niki invited us over to share this special visitor. I am also very thankful for a man taking time out of his life to visit children (young and old) for no profit at all. This world needs more Santa's!

My Poor Little Man..

Carter had some dental work done on Tuesday. I brought him home and put him on the couch to sleep. About a hour later, Ivan rushed into my room with Carter. He had blood on his face and his lip, oh my his lip. Turns out he was biting his numb lip for about a hour straight. The photo above was taken right when noticed it. It is way worse now! Yesterday we had him at Primary Children's where 4 different specialists treated him. His lip is very infected. They ended up letting him go home with an oral antibiotic. Still no improvement today and the pain is setting in really bad for him. So please keep him in your prayers! This is seriously breaking my heart.

All Girl's Birthday!

Janika had her 6th Girl friend birthday party last month.
Silly bakers! They are really happy, just trying to act sad. Notice the cute little necklaces we made while our pizza's were baking.

Eating the pizza they made! MMM
Presents! She got the nicest gifts!
Face Painting! Thanks Whit!!

October fun!

Carter is lacking in social skills and other kids don't really treat him very well. So I am constantly trying to make Carter feel special and to let the other kids see how cool he is. I asked Uncle Kurtis (aka Squirtis) what we should bring to make Carter more social (Kurtis is really good at knowing what kids like)? He said "Pixie Sticks" Guess what? The kids loved them and all the parents were telling them to say thank you. It was a great social thing for Carter and he was super excited. We were the only ones that brought a treat. This is what Morgan did with hers. Joy!
This is Carter all ready for his school party. He wiped the mustache off after I told him he looked like Mario. He hates to be called other names. When I bought this costume I called him Mario and he didn't put it back on for 3 weeks. So he went to school without the mustache.

So funny!

Janika picking out her pumpkin at the pumpkin patch.

Morgan shining the light so we could see. Ivan's ugly pumpkin.

Strike a pose!
Whitney colored and cut my hair. I love it!
Whitney's burn. So sad!
At cosmetology school they have been learning how to do Halloween makeup. This is the burn that Whitney came home with the other day. It totally looked real. We even told Ivan she was burned and he freaked out telling her we needed to go to the hospital. Hahaha
Just so you all know if you get the swine flu, it is not from us. We haven't been contagious for a week now. People are darting away from me when i see them. WE ARE NOT CONTAGOUS ANYMORE!!!!!!! So if you are getting sick this week blame it on someone else! Next time we are sick we are not telling ANYONE! I have never been treated so poorly in my life...

The Piggy Flu

Our house has been hit. Whitney brought it home first, then me and now my poor little man Carter. Who is next? Ivan is so lucky because when he took Carter to the Dr. they gave him a RX for the anti viral medication that they put Carter on. He gets to start the meds before he gets sick. Lucky him!

Just so you know. At the Doctors office Ivan bought Carter a bouncy ball with little glitter stars inside it from the little machine. Well he lost it and when an autistic kids needs something he doesn't forget about it. for 12 hours I had to hear him ask for the ball. I couldn't find it anywhere. So we went for a ride back to the Doctors office and Ivan bought 6 balls. Not one of them had the stars on it, but he seemed satisfied with the six balls. Later that night he started freaking out about the star ball all over again. So Ivan and I ripped through the house one more time and walaw Daddy found it!

They had some cool stuff at this place

This was a mining/railroad museum that we always go to in Helper, UT. This room is haunted! We had goose bumps all over.
This is a photo of the original way to perm hair. My Mother was the first person in St. George to use this machine. She was a tiny little girl and was in the newspaper for it. Could you imagine getting hooked up to this and then plugging it in. NOWAY!
