Whitney Wins 2nd In State

Whitney Won 2nd in State for Nails. We are so proud of her. She won hundreds of dollars in cool prizes. It was very stressful because she is sick and at 11pm the night before she was informed that she did not have a model. It was too late at night to find someone to go at 6 am the next day. I couldn't be gone from 6 am to 8 pm because I am nursing Morgan still. Guess who she got to be her Model?

Not only did she win 2nd in the entire State of Utah, she did it using a man. AMAZING!

Ivan is such a great Father. We didn't even have to ask him, he just stepped up! I know it was hard for him to take off of work. Thanks Sweetie!

Thursday Thoughts

• Morgan had her first bite of food on Sunday, yummy baby cereal.



• Whitney is a great sister



• Morgan feel asleep in her bouncier chair playing with her rattle.



• I got my new lap top screen in the mail today, I am so glad that Ivan is handy enough to fix it. They kids loved playing with the bubble wrap. See the video!



• Good luck Whitney! She has her nail competition today. She won 2nd place in region and now she is at the state competition today and tomorrow. She will do great! Last night about 9:30 she was shopping for the stuff she needed to meet the dress code. They had to wear certain shoes and a certain type of shirt. Crazy! Luckily she found all she needed at Shopko. At midnight she was printing out her resume. Can you say Procrastination?



• I hate stalkers! Long story, but I hate them!



• I think I love Dicks. I know that sounds bad, but get your mind out of the gutter, it is a grocery store. I went today after dropping Carter off at school and they had the most beautiful produce, it was displayed so pretty and made me want to eat it all! They also have a lovely bakery. I got the nicest buns (get your mind out) for dinner. I guess I have been shopping at Wally World to long, their stuff is not so pretty.



• I am going back to the foot Dr. tomorrow, I am sick of all the pain I am in. I love my Mommy and Daddy for tending my babies so I can go! It is also a bonus that I get to see them.



• Guitar lessons tonight, I hope I don't make a fool out of myself. I really suck!

Wingers and Police

Well we were trying to have a family dinner at Wingers in Bountiful. Carter had a melt down because the waitress put the popcorn bowel in front of him and we all started eating it. It is just one of those autistic meltdowns. To make a long story short Ivan took him out side so he could scream it out and a police man arrived to see what was going on. Ivan said he was very nice and understanding. Carter was not impressed with the cop and didn't want the sticker he offered, he just continued screaming. I knew this would happen eventually and I am sure it will not be the last time. Just a note to all people. Do not assume that when a child is screaming that the parents are abusing them. Open your eyes, you can clearly see Ivan trying to comfort him and loving him. Duhhh, they may just be autistic or even just naughty. Instead of calling the cops, ask if you can help in any way. I am going to get a shirt made up for Carter that says "I am Autistic, don't call the cops on my sweet, loving and kind parents, give them a hug!" I am sick of dirty looks and rude comments this just tops the list!

Thursday Thoughts

Ivan in his overalls. Too cute! Ivan wore these to Home Depot and Wal-mart. I still can't get him to wear them to work ;) Ivan informed me that a few ladies have approached him and had commented on his cool overalls. I accused him of wearing them for play.

Fish oil for Carter = he is talking now, he said so many new things today! I have been crying off and on all day because I am just so happy! I had my first real conversation with him today. He is telling me all kinds of stuff and even answering questions. It is like he had all these things to say all along. He even told Ivan to take the pepperoni off his pizza. I am glad my Mom told me about the fish oil, it is amazing and only after one week.

Got my new cell phone today.

Morgan took a long nap today so I was able to help my sweetie, Ivan. We tore down all the doors and I primed and painted them. They look so awesome. I am so glad to finally get that 70's look out of my home. I have paint in my hair, it will look so lovely for church tomorrow. Janika and Carter had a blast riding their bikes while I worked in the garage. Ivan bought these funny overalls to wear while painting and he was so excited about them. He said "They even have a zipper for my weenie" I about died, I guess I am corrupting him slowly. My dear friend Melanie knows a secret about these overalls. Yesterday I spent the day at a funeral for a dear friend Elayne Burningham. Her and my Mother have been friends for over 40 years, so she was like an aunt to me. She had a lovely service even though I spent most of it in the hall with Morgan. I got to have a long visit with Spencer McDougle, Him and Janet just adopted a 12 year old from Russia. We also talked about his daughter Janica she is 21 now. I feel so old, I remember bouncing her on my knee when she was a baby. It was a nice visit. Every time I see him and Janet I think of Ivan and myself. Tomorrow we are going to Mom's for dinner, I am so excited! She is the best cook in the entire world. We are going to let Carter spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa we all need a break, it was a long hard week and even Janika is stressed. I can't wait until girls day out on March 8th. I wished it was this weekend. My quilted bear gift card is burning a hole in my wallet.
