Weekend get away....

Highlights

  • Railroad Museum, after the 4th time being their we found out it was haunted. That explains the creepy feeling we always get at that place!

  • Beautiful wedding, great food.

  • 1lb of cheese later, John getting Janika over her fear of dogs.

  • Janika and Carter bonding with John and Marlo and even going for a ride in their car. Amazing!

  • Laying in Marlo's beautiful bedroom talking about stuff.

  • Kraymer showing me the coolest things on the guitar.

  • McKoy, taking over Morgan and letting Janika and Carter play in her room, giving me a break!

  • Kennedy, finding a green marker to calm Carter's OCD attack, she saved the day!

  • Eating a stale doughnut and a bowel of Cheerios with my parents at the hotel! While Ivan and the kids slept. I love spending time with them.

  • Balance Rock Eatery & Pub, I never knew you could get a sandwich that big. Made a fat lady sing!!!!

  • Visiting the ghost town Hiawatha, crazy how it was so alive one day with a hospital, school, church, store and now totally dead.

  • Carter and Janika painting the rocks they took from John's landscape as soon as we got home.

  • Ivan driving the entire trip

  • Whitney at home missing us while we were totally missing her.
