Who had a birthday? Shout hooray!

Ok it has almost been a year. Why did I stop blogging? Well, I went private due to some creepy things and it seemed like no one read it anymore. I was sick of the photos on here. Seems like I can never get them in order and they are almost impossible for me to move around. I guess my skills are lacking. I will just say this "I am not even going to try anymore" That is why you will see Carter's 6th birthday photos all out of whack. Here you go...(or here you go Mom because I think that is all who will even look). Carter's 3rd birthday cake. I made this delicious cake for myself and called it Carter's.  He really doesn't even like cake, especially a cake that has been shared with other people. I had this cake at a dinner party, googled the recipe, and I think this is the one... because it tastes just like the one we had. I thought I was a great baker until I tackled this bad boy. Wow, it was a frustrating cake.  But it turned out. Yummo!
Carter at his friend party. 3 kids from school, 2 siblings of the kids from school and 2 friends from the neighborhood. Darling, darling, did I mention darling kids! It was a totally laid back birthday party. I loved it!
Crafts! We made flying saucers. Wahoo!
This is the party gift each kid got to take home. Remember I am not messing with the photos any more so turn your head.
I had to show you the cool star and planet scene that Ivan made. Yes the ceiling had lights under the black. It looked so awesome. Yes it is still up, too cool to take down. Perhaps we will make it a part of our regular home decor.

Cake #2. This is a moon cake that I made. Super easy cake mix cake. I can do that with ease.
This is Carter on his actual day. This is the super easy cake #1 that I let him pick out, preordered from Dick's and paid $14.99.  Afterwhich I was rudely informed by Carter that he doesn't like cake. I was pretty bummed about it because I can't really eat cake in huge quantities. To keep my weight off I can only have one tiny slice. Good news, the next day he decided that he liked cake. Phew! Oh on his actual day we went to Chuck E Cheese. It was a blast!
One of the gifts we bought him that he probably will not play with. He really doesn't like toys, but we always buy them. He is way into his IPad lately. The IPAD is an entirely other post. Amazing amazing amazing. Someone left it on our door step for him. Some amazing unknown person. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Carter on his blessing day. I had no clue how much this kid would challenge me and change my life forever. He is so special and has taught me so much about life, compassion and being a mother. I love this kid and am so proud of him and all that he has done in his 6 years of life. He hasn't had things easy from birth on, but he is the best he can be and I am super proud of him!

Carter is 6 years old what a sweet boy he is and our family all love him. Karolynn and Ivan are good parents and try hard to give him the best life possible and I thank them for that. I hope he will have the best life he can and hope I will be able to be here and be a part of it.
